森の生態系を体験するVR(仮想現実) Würfelwald VR

森の生態系をVR(HTC Vive)で体験することができる事例の紹介。以前は、WürfelWald 2012という平面モニターにサイコロを転がすことで、モニター上に森林が構成されていく方式であったが、よりリアリティーを持たせたものがここで紹介するWürfelwald VRだ。

ただゲームを楽しむだけではなく、ゲームをしながら環境保護の必要性を体験することができるだろう。

木や動物の絵が描かれたサイコロを地面に転がす


すると...木が生え、動物が出現。創造主として生態系を築くことができる。

Realisiert in Unity3D, gecoded in c#.

WürfelWald (doesn't translate very well .... DiceWood ... sounds silly) : A mixed reality project from Raphael Polte and Marvin Podsendek which enables the User to grow their very own forrest. The forrest itself is everchanging and fully customizeable with different animal species, trees, lighting and weather effects!

The project was realized using the Unity3D engine and coded in c#!
