Minecraft Reality - SLAM 動的マッピング技術を利用したiPhone向けARアプリ

Contents such as 3DCG can be dynamically related by using the technology of 'Simultaneous Localization And Mapping' (SLAM) though image recognition AR cannot be achieved if data is not related to specific scenery, the picture, and the photograph, etc. beforehand usually. 13thLab that had released PointCloud ahead fairly released Minecraft Reality that was able to enjoy this technology readily. I also am considerably expecting that SLAM can be achieved. 

通常、画像認識ARは、特定の景色や絵、写真などに予めコンテンツを関連付けておかないと実現できないが simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM)の技術を使用することで、動的に3DCGなどのコンテンツトを関連付けることが可能だ。随分前にPointCloud をリリースしている13thLabが、この技術を気軽に楽しめるMinecraft Realityをリリースした。SLAMが実現できることに、私もかなり期待している。
