Perth Heat "Wheel of Fortune Augmented Reality" #AR

オーストラリアの野球リーグのシーズン2012で利用された、iPad-AR-ルーレットゲーム。マーカーにiPadのカメラをかざすと、ARの3Dオブジェクトが表示される。それを指で弾くと、それがクルクル回転して当たりや外れが表示されるというもののようだ。Stringが利用されている。

For the opening of the season 2011/2012 of the Australian Baseball League, the "Alcohol Think Again Perth Heat" were seen in the CBD on Friday (Sep 30) and Sunday (Oct 2), giving away tickets, Heat gears and even kisses !

For this event AIR Experience Media has created an Augmented Reality game called " I only kiss Heat fans" and designed to be played on an iPad.

The player just had to track the marker with the iPad to see a wheel of fortune appears on the screen. Then the player was able to spin and stop the wheel just by touching the iPad's screen. The final step for the player was to collect his prize or even better a kiss from the Heat Hotties.
