Architectural arrangement simulation using head mount display "RealEyes" - HMDを使用した建築シミュレーション #AR #HMD

It is a solution to consider the practicality as long as the video is seen. It is pleasant though there seems still to be room for improvement. 

ビデオを見る限り、実用性を意識したソリューションだ。まだまだ改善の余地がありそうだが、とても良い感じだ。

RealEyes Project

The RealEyes project is a solution using augmented reality glasses to display virtual pictures on the glasses in addition to what the user sees. 

This project mostly aims to allow visualization of real-size buildings in areas where they don't exist yet, or where they don't exist anymore.
The solution works using a simple principle: the real pictures are captured by a camera, the application adds in real time pictures coming from a three dimensions models designed in advance, and to the user all these elements together. Hence, he sees the virtual elements as if they really existed, and can even move around it.

The RealEyes solution is useful in the architectural areas, allowing making demonstrations on site, and in the tourism areas, to show archeological sites as they were in the past.
