An open platform where the coexistence society of the person and the robot is simulated by the national informatics research and the virtual environment is developed.
国立情報学研究所が、人間と知能ロボットの共存社会をデザイン・検証するためのオープンプラットフォーム「SIGVerse」を開発した。
同システムは、複数の任意のユーザーが仮想環境の中に自分の設計した仮想ロボットを投入し、アバターを介して互いにコミュニケートすることができるというもの。同システムのコンセプト作りには「パラサイト・イヴ」などの作者である作家の瀬名秀明氏や「攻殻機動隊S.A.C.」などのアニメ脚本家の櫻井圭記氏らも参画している。
