マイクロソフトが提案する教育現場への Surface 導入事例。スペインでの事例。教科書の絵に端末のカメラを向けると、3DCGが現れる定番のARもしっかり組み込まれているようだ。また、先生にとっても多機能端末は授業の味方になるころだろう。
Colegio La Salle Maravillas in Madrid has adopted Surface Pro as the ideal device for an augmented reality project they are running in collaboration with educational software and curriculum developer, Edelvives, and Microsoft.
The experiences so far are that students are much more engaged in their own learning and students with special needs are better supported in their learning, as the devices can be adapted to their needs and thus teaching and learning can be targeted better at their needs.
