The Holition Ring is a demonstration of a 'true-to-life' rendering of Cartier's Diamond ring combined with Augmented Reality (AR) for use in the high-end luxury retail market.
The concept design is provided by Holition; the responsive tracking and realistic rendering is made possible by the dual-core Cortex™- A9 and the quad-core Mali-400 MP GPU which render over 150,000 polygons per frame.
Running at over 30fps, the Holition Ring is an example of how ARM is working across the AR value chain providing the technology (Compute and Graphics) and supporting the AR ecosystem of developers and partners.
