Denkend Dansen (Thinking Dancing)
Denkend Dansen has been specially created for the artproject "Nietzsche... nur Narr! nur Dichter!".
Lisette Huizenga used for this piece Motion capture with help of the Microsoft Kinect which has given her the possibility to transform human movements into avatars.
Jozefien Debaillie is the real professional dancer who has cooperated into this project. The avatar's movements are actually hers.
Lisette Huizenga invites the viewer into her own world. The process from idea/illusion into something visible is her great challenge. By playing with new techniques she tries to manifistate her ideas into reality.
In "Dansend Denken" she shows that 3D animation techniques (in combination wit augmented reality) can take a part into danceperformance of the future. Even a dancer will be 'automated'.
Nietzsche's piano piece is played by Simon Marlow.
