Interaction Real Robots with Virtual Scenarios through Augmented Reality #AR
(via YouTube)this video shows a tool which grants remote access to a real robot (a Khepera-II mobile minirobot was used), which can interact with an obstacle-containing virtual scenario by means of augmented reality techniques. The desired virtual scenario can be chosen previously. In addition, this scenario can be modified interactively in real time, remotely and even when the robot is moving. This tool proposes a concept which includes and improves the capabilities of virtual and/or remote educational labs known as augmented remote lab (ARL), a lab constituted by both a real and a virtual physical environment.
