iPhoneでもARToolKitが使えるようになったようだ。Flashが使用出来ないiPhoneではFLARtoolKitが使用出来ないという残念な状態になっていたので、今後が楽しみだ。

ARToolworks is pleased to announce the immediate availability of ARToolKit for iPhone, beta 1. This release allows iPhone developers to use ARToolKit's optical marker tracking capabilities on the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS under Apple iPhone OS v3.1 and later, and to potentially submit their applications to Apple's iPhone App Store (subject to ARToolKit distibution licensing).

ARToolKit for iPhone beta 1 includes all the great features of ARToolKit, using only public Apple-approved API. It includes sourcecode for full compilable iPhone applications, with classes that can be reused in developer's own applications, enabling rapid deployment of a full spectrum of AR applications including product demos, situated visualisation, and of course -- great games.
